What does Ghost Hunter Pro do?

Ghost Hunter Pro helps you review statements and related signals to identify recurring subscriptions, trial conversions, and potential billing patterns that deserve attention.

Is Ghost Hunter Pro a bank or financial advisor?

No. Ghost Hunter Pro is a software analysis tool. It does not provide banking, legal, tax, or financial advice.

Analysis and Accuracy

Are results always exact?

No AI-assisted system is perfect. Results should be reviewed before acting. You remain responsible for confirming merchant terms and cancellation status directly with providers.

What file types are supported?

The app is optimized for statement text workflows, including PDF-based statement analysis paths where supported by your current app version.

Billing and Subscription

How are paid features billed?

Paid features are billed through configured platform/payment channels. Applicable terms, pricing, and refund rules are shown at purchase time and may be subject to platform policies.

Can I cancel subscriptions detected by the app directly?

Ghost Hunter Pro can help you identify and prepare actions, but cancellation is completed with the merchant or service provider that charges you.

Privacy and Security

Do you sell my personal data?

How can I request account or data deletion?

Contact info@ghosthunter.store with your account details and request type. Verification steps may be required before processing deletion requests.

Troubleshooting

I am not receiving reminders or notifications. What should I check?

Check notification permission status, battery optimization settings, and whether app-level reminders are enabled in your account and guard settings.

When a reminder time is reached, does the app send a push or an alarm?

Guard reminders are delivered as native OS notifications at the exact time you set. They are not a continuous alarm sound. Sound, vibration, and alert style follow your phone notification settings for Ghost Hunter Pro.

Will reminders still fire if the app is closed?

Yes. Scheduled reminders are handled by native OS notification services and can appear even when the app is closed, as long as notification permissions are granted and restrictive battery limits are not blocking delivery.

Can I add additional emails for Guard protection?

Yes. In Account Details, you can add up to 3 additional protection emails. They are saved to your account profile and used for guard coverage setup.

Where can I see Guard history?

Guard findings appear in your account history timeline and are stored with scan history entries so you can review both manual scans and guard detections in one place.

How does Delete Account work?

Use Settings > Delete Account. You will see a permanent deletion confirmation. Once confirmed, account data and associated history are removed and the action cannot be undone.
